Pattern: Hourglass Sweater by Joelle Hoverson in Last Minute Knitted Gifts
Yarn: Sundara Yarn ASM in Branches On Winter Sky (less than 5 skeins)
Finished Size: 36"
Pattern Modifications: I added lots of length to both the body and the sleeves. I re-spaced all the shaping accordingly and exaggerated the flare on the sleeves and body.
Notes: This is a great, simple silhouette. I love the contrast of the strongly patterned fabric with the simple hemmed edges.  I knit the body in the round with single skeins, but for the sleeves the stitch counts were giving some pooling. So for them, I alternated two skeins and from time to time I looped out a color to make the patterning more random.

Pattern: Nantucket Jacket by Norah Gaughan
Yarn: Sundara Yarn ASM in Ruby Port
Needles: US 7
Finished Size: 34"-36"
Notes: The ASM stretches a lot when blocked, so I'd definitely recommend swatching, measuring gauge, blocking, and measuring gauge again.  This pattern also tends to run large.  I used 4.4 skeins (~440g) total.  The back took 140g and the fronts took about 95g each.  I alternated two skeins on each piece.  (I used the same two skeins for both fronts.)  Even though a couple of the skeins looked darker in person, you can't tell in the finished sweater.

Pattern: Clapotis by Kate Gilbert from Knitty Fall 2004
Yarn: Sundara Yarn ASM in Black Cherry (3 Skeins)
Needles: US 8
Finished Size: One repeat narrower than the pattern size, and two repeats longer.
Pattern Modifications: Made narrower and a little longer since I had less yarn than the pattern calls for.
Notes: I had three skeins (600 yards), so I used the Clapotis rule of fifths and did one less increase section, and did a couple extra straight repeats.

Pattern: Amelia by Laura Chau
Yarn: Sundara Yarn ASM in Sour Apple, 4.8 skeins
Needles: US 6
Finished Size: 34"
Pattern Modifications:
1) Knit entire body on size 6 needles to eliminate the flair at the bottom.
2) Started the waistband 8" from the bottom of the sweater so that it falls at my natural waist.
3) Put buttonholes every 8 garter ridges the entire length of the sweater.
4) Added 2" length to the arms and body.
5) Knit for an additional 1.5" before beginning neckline shaping to bring the neckline up; started neckline shaping at the point when the raglan shaping and neckline shaping would end at the same time.
6) Added grosgrain ribbon trim to finish the button band.
Notes: This was my first Sundara Yarn project.  Aran Silky Merino is so luxurious to knit with, and I enjoyed this project tremendously.  I couldn't be happier with the finished sweater.

Pattern: Frosting by Thayer Preece
Yarn: Sundara Yarn ASM in Blooming Fuchsia, 2.5 skeins
Needles: US 9 / 5.5 mm
Finished Size: 42" in diameter
Pattern Modifications: I cast on about twice as many stitches as called for in the original, to make an extra wide version.
Notes: The extra width made it especially cuddly and warm for traveling in cooler climates

Pattern: Abalone by Beata Jezek
Yarn: Sundara Yarn ASM in Wild Blueberries (3 skeins)
Needles: US 8 / 5 mm
Finished Size: Designed for a 36" bust
Pattern Modifications: I added a few inches both in width and length from the original dimensions to fit my measurements.  I also did two fewer rows of garter stitch on the edging.
Notes: Even with adding both length and width, I was still able to knit this sweater out of only 3 skeins of ASM (although, I used every last bit)-- a great project for using limited yardage!
